About Us

 

We’re a diverse team of strategists, marketers, innovators, and doers. We’re not afraid to set bold goals for ourselves and our clients, because we have the confidence and know-how to make things happen.

Our story began in 2012, when CEO and founder Donita Prakash started Other Division, which provided tailor-made marketing strategy to software and technology clients. Donita combines over a decade of Chief Marketing Officer expertise with in-depth experience working with a variety of industries including SaaS, technology, fintech, consulting, and everything in between.

Her passion for what she does has inspired her to lead and mentor startup innovation programs using the NSF I-Corps methodology at George Washington, George Mason and University of Maryland. She has also served on the board of directors of Reston INC-spire, a non-profit business incubator, and as an advisory board member of Medstar Washington Hospital TAPP program.

Our impactful approach to M&A change has set us apart as thought leaders in the field, which is why we have decided to focus our services and become “Brand Transitions”, a company who provides specialist teams committed to executing brand integration and unification strategy during and after mergers and acquisitions.
